What should I expect for my first visit?

You can expect a kind & helpful environment the moment you walk in. Though we do need to deal with paperwork & insurance details, our ultimate goal is to help you achieve Relief, Recovery, and Relaxation. Here is the general flow of things:

1.    Masks are now optional in our facility. We will continue to supply surgical and KN95 masks, if you would like to wear one.  For more information, please review our Covid protocols page.

2.    Check in with the front desk.

3.    If we don't already have it, please bring your prescription from your referring provider.

4.    If you need to complete the new patient paperwork (i.e. you were unable to fill it out online), please arrive 30 minutes early if you've been in a motor vehicle accident or hurt on the job. If you’re paying out-of-pocket/wellness or using an HSA card, please arrive 15 minutes early.

5.    Once you’re complete with the check-in process, your therapist will bring you into a treatment room where they will begin by reviewing your paperwork, asking questions & collaborating with you to establish the best way to proceed. Your massage therapist may also perform certain assessments and testing to evaluate your condition and stage of inflammation. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

6.    They will then let you know they’ll be leaving the room so you can get undressed to whatever your level of comfort may be and get in-between the sheets, just like getting into bed, i.e. there’s a top sheet and a bottom sheet.

7.    You’ll be covered the entire time, except for just the body part that your therapist is working on. Do keep in mind that it’s perfectly normal to be completely disrobed during a massage, although not at all required.

“Fantastic! Everyone whom I encounter is always patient and willing to help. The massage itself is a very calm and soothing time. Exactly the experience I’d hoped for.”
